Dr. Dang Hai Luyen, DDS is a 2003 graduate of the University of Toronto, School of Dentistry. After receiving his D.D.S, he served as a staff dentist at the Weeneebayko General Hospital for one year. During this time, he taught dental students from the Toronto and Western universities, treated patients in the hospital clinic and O.R. He then went into private practice in Hamilton, Barrie and Toronto. Dr. Luyen is very dedicated to the art and science of dentistry. He continually expands his expertise by attending advanced training offered through the University of Toronto, University of Michigan, Medical College of Georgia, the Dawson Academy, the Misch Institute of Implantology...etc. He is a Fellow of the International College of Implantology, member of the Ontario Dental Association and Royal College of Dental Surgeon of Ontario. Dr. Luyen is certified to provide oral or I.V. conscious sedation and offers a full range of services from simple fillings to complicated wisdom teeth extractions and bone grafting.

Dr. Luyen's treatment philosophy is based on the health model rather than the traditional repair model where teeth are put through cycles of replacing fillings and fixing cavities. With the health or wellness model, the focus is placed on the prevention and detection of dental disease. This is done so that appropriate preventative therapies are recommended. The aim is to increase the success rate in treating future problems. Above all, Dr. Luyen's priority is to give the patients the most comfortable and relaxing experience during dental treatment. His ultimate goals are to establish healthy, beautiful smiles and life-long relationships with his patients.
